John Deere Lawn Tractors and Snowblowers | John Deere Snowblower

John Deere Snowblower

Filed Under John Deere Lawn Tractors and Snowblowers Videos |

This tractor is either a 6320 or 6420 series john deere, with the 640 loader attachment. It is the biggest tractor the local snow removal company in my town owns, and it is quite a beast. The snowblower has Dual augers, is probably around 8-9 feet wide and 3-4feet tall, and it can take a lot of snow. In this video its only snowblowing around 6 inches of snow, but I’ve seen it do a good foot and a half just as fast. Its not nearly big as the huge fendt 930 snowblowers, but its still a big machine. Please comment, it would be greatly appreciated.

Wow, I just bought me a new snow thrower and now I feel like the little dude on the totem pole. NICE TOY. Hey At least I was walking behind mine while I was watching all my neighbors break their backs! LOL. We got a foot and a half.

lol well this tractor is slightly overkill for just a driveway, and yet it has to do the entire town. Walk behind snowblowers are fine if your just clearing your house walk and driveway.

they use the front end loader to clean up beside postal boxes in rural streets where the postman still deliver mail by car.
btw this tractor must be a 6220 or 6320!

lol nah, usually snoblowers are used for driveways. there are plows around here that do the roads, and they are much faster than a snowblower could ever be. but this blower definetely has the power to wreck any window (and maybe door) on an average house, so obviously they have to be careful while using it.

yeah its very useful to have the loader on the front, but there arent many mailboxes around here. and im still not quite sure about the tractor model. so far ive heard everything from 6220 to 6320 to 6420. unfortuneately john deere models are one of my weak spots when it comes to tractors.all i know for sure is that the 640 is the loader version of any of the above. what makes you think its either a 6220 or 6320? is there some attachment or model design that tells it all? would like to no.

if you look closely the tires are 38 inches in diameter and the blower is a 92 inches model;so it must be a 6320 or a 6420 like the one my uncle has for snowblowing his driveway and neighbors!a 6220 would be smaller!

it drives toward the front loader. he is just leaning his arm over the seat to see where he is snowblowing. I expect his chair might swivel as well, but it does drive like you would expect a regular farm tractor to.

  21. worknsnow345 on August 29th, 2008 1:36 pm

thats what this tractor is…the jd6420?

  22. LauZao on August 29th, 2008 1:36 pm

    JD 6420 has 120hp.

  23. fmjammo on August 29th, 2008 1:36 pm

”640” is the loader model indeed.

  24. worknsnow345 on August 29th, 2008 1:36 pm

hey thanks for clearing that up. yeah i didnt know too much about the tractor, and i guess the fendt 930 is a lot bigger. sorry for misstating that. ill make sure to change the video description. is the 640 on the side of the front loader just the series of tractor then?

  25. fmjammo on August 29th, 2008 1:36 pm

Nice video! But it’s not as close with a Fendt 930 as you may think, this tractor is a JD6420, maybe 6430 i can’t see, well it has 95hp and the Fendt 930 has 300hp. For private entrance snow removal the ‘’small” Deere is a fantastic machine, as long as it got IVT transmission.
