The Z245 is a middle range zero turn lawnmower from the EZtrak line. The main differences between the models are in the engine power and width of cut. The Z245 has a 23-hp Briggs & Stratton V-twin, air-cooled engine giving a top forward speed of 11.3kph and reverse speed of up to 5.6 kph. The Z245 also has an oil filter, a distinct advantage over the Z225 model.
Transmission & Frame
The two rear wheels are driven by the standard dual automatic transmission. The 1 inch axles are thicker than most models and the frame is heavy-duty tubular steel so this is a sturdy machine.
Controls
Twin levers control speed and direction and can be adjusted to five front - rear settings and three height settings for a more comfortable ride and better control. The motion control shock absorbers ensure smoother lever operation and make maneuvering smoother and more comfortable.
Cutting
The cutting height is ajdjusted by a hand lever and can be varied between one and four inches in half inch increments. The deck is 42″ wide and manufactured for side discharge. Rear bagger and mulching systems are available as optional extras.
Conveniences
The deck is easy to clean with a mower wash port and the foor platform flip up for easy access when servicing.

A single light kit is available but no sunshade for this model
